Shi’an Jia Technology to Participate in the 2025 National Symposium on Electron Microscopy in Life Sciences
To further promote the application of electron microscopy in China’s life sciences research, the 2025 National Symposium on Electron Microscopy in Life Sciences—held under the theme “Exchange, Improvement, Cooperation, and Innovation”—was convened at Pu’er University on November 15. Hu Qiang, Vice President of the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Chen Yong, Vice President of Pu’er University; and Professor Yang Yongji from the Naval Medical University were among the attendees.
To further promote the application of electron microscopy in China’s life sciences research, the 2025 National Symposium on Electron Microscopy in Life Sciences—under the theme of “Exchange, Advancement, Collaboration, and Innovation”—was held at Pu’er University on November 15. The event was attended by Hu Qiang, Vice President of the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Chen Yong, Vice President of Pu’er University; and Professor Yang Yongji from the Naval Medical University. The symposium was chaired by Zhang Zhongkai, a researcher at the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences. More than 200 experts and industry representatives from universities, research institutes, and leading enterprises across the country—all active in the field of electron microscopy in life sciences—participated in the event.
At the conference, our company showcased our automated supercritical drying system and magnetron sputtering system, which garnered significant interest from numerous experts and faculty members. Shianjia will continue to provide user-friendly, high-performance instruments to enterprises and universities alike.
During the meeting, the list of individuals recognized for outstanding contributions was announced; a ceremony was held to present plaques honoring distinguished contributions in Chinese life-science electron microscopy; the citation for each award was read aloud, and representatives who received the Outstanding Contribution Award delivered remarks.
This conference is co-hosted by the Key Laboratory of Crop Genetic Resources and Germplasm Innovation in Southwest China under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Institute of Biotechnology and Germplasm Resources of the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and organized by Pu’er University and Yunnan Dianhuitong Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. The program comprises four components: academic presentations; cutting-edge electron microscopy techniques; reports and exchanges of experience on experimental techniques and laboratory management; and exchanges of experience in the construction of microscopic morphological platforms and laboratory management. The conference will be held from November 14 to 17, 2025.
