Shi’an Jia Technology Attends the International Academic Conference on Multifunctional Framework Materials


From November 14 to 16, the International Symposium on Multifunctional Framework Materials was held in the Auditorium of the Administrative Center at Zhejiang Normal University. Attendees included Chen Banglin, a Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences, the symposium’s chair, and Director of the Institute for Multifunctional Framework Materials at Zhejiang Normal University; Michael Zaworotko, a Fellow of the Royal Irish Academy; Lin Wenbin, a Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences; Xu Qiang, a Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences; and other European academicians.

From November 14 to 16, the International Symposium on Multifunctional Framework Materials was held in the Auditorium of the Administrative Center at Zhejiang Normal University. Attending the opening ceremony were Chen Banglin, a Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences, Chair of the Conference, and Director of the Institute for Multifunctional Framework Materials at Zhejiang Normal University; Michael Zaworotko, a Fellow of the Royal Irish Academy; Lin Wenbin, a Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences; Xu Qiang, a Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences; Lang Jianping, a Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences; Guillaume Maurin, a Fellow of the French Academy of Sciences; Zhang Jianzhen, Vice President of Zhejiang Normal University; and Chen Gang, Deputy Director of the Organization Department of the Jinhua Municipal Party Committee.

Academician Chen Banglin, the initiator of the conference, drew on his own academic and research experience to review the evolution of the field of multifunctional framework materials. Starting from the international cutting edge and emerging trends in the discipline, he outlined the vast prospects for future research in this area. He noted that in recent years, national innovation in science and technology has been increasingly integrated with industrial innovation, giving rise to the vigorous development of new-quality productive forces and the accelerated emergence of major scientific and technological breakthroughs. He encouraged young scholars to focus on the frontiers of science and technology and on national priorities, to pursue deep and sustained expertise in their respective fields, and to achieve personal growth and groundbreaking results through persistent effort.

At this conference, our company strongly recommended the SCD-380A fully automatic supercritical drying system, which is highly relevant to the conference’s focus on MOFs and COFs materials. Several students and faculty members expressed considerable interest in this instrument, as it enables the activation and drying of framework-structured materials without compromising their structure, thereby enhancing their performance—making it the optimal drying method for such materials.

In the subsequent agenda, five parallel forums engaged in lively and in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics including adsorption–separation framework materials, optoelectronic framework materials, and interdisciplinary research on framework materials.

This conference not only showcased the research strengths of our project team in the field of multifunctional framework materials, but also established an excellent platform for in-depth exchanges between our team and domestic and international peers, thereby laying a solid foundation for future research collaboration and the generation of impactful research outcomes.
